Hi. I'm Cliff

I've spent all my life in the Midwest. I went to high school just outside of Elkhart, Indiana and lived for quite a while in Fort Wayne.

I attended Purdue University for five years in the early 70's but never graduated. I got a job as a flight instructor back in Elkhart and stayed there for four years until I was hired by a small commuter airline.

The airline job was not the best in the world and after having 13 years with the company, I was laid off for the third time. That's when I decided to "retool" and move into a more stable career. I finished my degree at the Purdue extension in Fort Wayne and after a brief job working for a local Internet service provider went on to get my MBA at Krannert (Purdue again).

I moved to the Detroit area after the MBA to work for Ford Motor Company. After many short rotations in various areas of their Information Technology department, a position came up supporting Ford Flight Operations. I'm now able to merge my aviation experience with my information systems education.

In my spare time I like to work with computers. Some of this site is actually running on a server in my basement. My daughter, Amy, and I are presently working on building a telescope. I've been active around the house and built a new deck a few summers ago and am currently working on finishing off the basement.
